28th May 2015 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 14ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A lovely sunny day with a decent wind. Managed a 50 mil cycle ride before 9am and then went for a swim. Then headed into town to do some tasks before walking over to the beach with my kit. Rigged my 5.6m sail first and had a few goes with that but decided to change down to a 5m as I was quite overpowered. 5m was better. More control and still plenty of power. Lots of nice jumps and gybes and with the sun shining everything was perfect. That was until the spreader bar on my harness snapped forcing me to come off the water a little earlier than anticipated. |
